One of the reasons I first started to become interested in photography, was because my little brother, Jeff, died when he was 15 years old and we have only a few precious photographs of him. Years later I purchased my first DSLR and started taking photographs of family members. I was so glad I did, because then my other brother Jon passed away.
Photographer Sue Bryce started her #existinphotos campaign, to encourage people, women in particular, to have their photographs taken. If you died tomorrow, would there be any really good photos for your family to treasure? I know I am guilty of avoiding the camera (I hide behind one!), because I am too old, or my hair isn't right, or I just need to loose a couple of pound, or....or....or......and so it goes on.
So for the sake of your loved ones, book a slot with a portrait photographer. Don't wait until later, sometimes later is too late.
